When faced with tough decisions what should a leader draw on? Often I find it helpful when faced with a difficult choice or uncertainty to exercise my values. The five values I carry are vision, service, inclusion, integrity, and hard work.I believe to have a brighter future a vision is necessary to intentionally guide my actions and those that I lead.I believe in serving higher purposes, which is why I seek to serve my community through educational leadership.I believe in a world of equality where individual talents can be fully realized and embraced, which is why I have sought to open the doors of higher education wider and increase student success.I believe in a high degree of integrity as those with power and privilege should be held to a higher standard. Finally, I believe in hard work.I am a person that does the homework, who engages, who will do what needs to be done for the team.
